Then in 2019, Kirin Holdings announced the board resolution to acquire a 95% controlling stake. Later that same year, the acquisition was officially completed, making Kyowa Hakko Bio a direct subsidiary of Kirin Holdings. And in January 2023; Kyowa Hakko Bio became a 100% wholly owned subsidiary of Kirin Holdings.
